Business Development Manager, Enterprise SaaS

Location: Austin / San Antonio, Texas

Description

We are seeking an exceptional and savvy New Business Development Manager to join our growing team. In this role, you will be focused on selling our SaaS platform by developing new prospects and stewarding deals through all facets of the sales process to enterprise customers. You will report to the Head of Business Development, N. America and collaborate with Product, Marketing and other New Business Development team members to increase sales of our SaaS products and services.

You will

  • penetrate target accounts in key North American communications service providers, insurance, OEM, retail, and large enterprise sectors
  • successfully navigate complex corporate customer organizations and cross-functional business units
  • develop and maintain trusted, long-term business relationships with decision makers and key influencers at target accounts and industry sectors
  • maintain a rhythm of regular communications with key stake holders
  • develop and implement sales plans to meet or exceed assigned sales and billed revenue targets
  • generate new sales opportunities through various prospecting and account penetration strategies, including professional introductions, customer referrals, partner relationships and cold calling
  • continuously feed and maintain a new sales pipeline with enough sales opportunities to consistently meet/exceed revenue goals
  • utilize internal tools to accurately track and maintain accurate data for pipeline, forecasts and activity tracking
  • stay abreast and share knowledge of the competitive landscape and emerging technologies to improve our position in the marketplace

You need

  • experience as a business development advisor with the ability to manage C-level relationships in the industry’s largest companies
  • proven experience selling enterprise SaaS solutions
  • to be a strategic thinker with the ability to design and execute complex sales plans
  • a rare combination of sales hunter with the ability to create and nurture long-term relationships
  • ability to manage multiple contract negotiations and relationships simultaneously in a start-up environment
  • experience selling to mobile operators, OEMs (device manufacturers), customer care organizations and large enterprises
  • functional understanding of mobile and IoT technologies
  • to be legally authorized to work in the US
