Based anywhere in Europe | ~30% travel

If you have spent your career in IPTV, Telco and Pay-TV, you already know how rare it is to find a business with genuinely strong technology and the appetite to scale it properly.
This is one of those roles.
We are looking for a Chief Revenue Officer / Chief Sales Officer to take full commercial ownership of a well-established, highly respected TV middleware, OS and video-platform business operating at the heart of the broadcast and pay-TV ecosystem.
You will report directly to the Board (but you wont be sitting on it), lead a small but capable sales function, and be trusted to turn opportunity into predictable, sustainable revenue growth.

You will
- Strengthen operator relationships
- Open new doors across IPTV and Telco accounts
- Build partnerships with solution providers and ecosystem players
- Position the business clearly against competitors like 3 Screen Solutions, Accedo, Zappware, Oregan Networks, Ocean Blue Software, Wyplay Fluendo, and the wider ecosystem of players and partners such as Nagra, Irdeto, Synamedia, Kaltura, Quickplay and others
Sometimes operators want best-in-class device middleware.
Sometimes they want an end-to-end platform.
You will know how to navigate both conversations.
What you’ll actually be doing
- Own the commercial strategy for the business
- Lead and develop global sales team including two senior sales professionals
- Personally drive high-value operator and partner relationships
- Expand the company’s footprint with broadcast, IPTV and Telco operators
- Develop new business across Europe, with bonus points if you bring North American or Latin American contacts
- Work closely with product and leadership teams to shape positioning and go-to-market
- Report performance, pipeline and strategy directly to the Board, being fully accountable for the top line
- Drive continuous improvements within your team and the Company
If you have marketing experience alongside sales, even better. Understanding messaging, positioning and narrative in this market is a big advantage.
You need
This will suit you if you …
- have sold TV middleware, STB software, OS or video platforms before
- have deep contacts in IPTV, Telco and Pay-TV
- have good understanding of the above technolgies
- are comfortable operating at the Board level without needing a title for validation
- have led sales teams
- can move easily between strategic thinking and hands-on deal-making
- understand the difference between selling software, platforms and partnerships
- enjoy autonomy, trust and accountability in equal measure
This is a role for someone who knows how to make things happen.
You get
Location & travel
- You can be based anywhere in Europe
- Travel is sensible and purposeful — around 30%, mainly within Europe and tradeshows like IBC and CES, and visits to the European R&D centres
The reward
- Base salary: €150,000 to €180,000
- On-target earnings: €250,000
- Senior visibility, genuine influence, and a product portfolio that stands up in the market
