We have an exciting opportunity to join a fast-growing VC backed European big data analytics company that uses human and social data to produce customer insights.
In this role, you will be responsible for new business development into the Enterprise (Travel, Transport and related verticals) sector selling them state-of-the-art analytics as a service.
- take accountability for driving new business directly and for the management of the overall business development activity
- develop a strategy to take opportunities from ‘cold’ prospects to signed contracts
- pitch to senior level decision makers
- be supported by a lead generating team
- take ownership of the full sales cycle, targeting the most relevant opportunities to deliver against targets and KPI’s
- be prepared to support the project management of delivered sales
- be the guardian of overall client satisfaction
- 5+ years’ experience in direct sales into enterprises and ideally channel/partnership sales
- technology sales experience selling analytics (data, location, or mobile) solutions
- sales experience in the Travel/Transportation sector (airlines, airports, transport hubs, ride sharing, fleets, logistics/shipping, etc.)
- strong knowledge of the big data analytics
- US Citizenship or Green card
- ability to develop and communicate a strategic vision to clients and drive consultative sales processes
- to be prepared to travel
