Sales Engineer

Due to client and business growth, we have a new exciting role to join as a Sales Engineer for a solution that allows company employees to use consumer messaging apps such as WhatsApp to communicate with enterprise clients and follow compliance and regulations and ensure communication and data is owned and monitored by enterprise clients including law firms, banks, financial institutions, retail and others.

Is this role for you?

  • Do you have experience in Sales Engineering in the above sectors (e.g. financial institutions, legal)?
  • Do you have understanding of messaging or communication protocols?

If the answers are yes to the above, then this role is potentially for you!

You will

  • spend 65% on technical/project management matters and 35% pursuing customer opportunities
  • conduct product demonstrations
  • prepare pre-meeting and post-meeting review of prospect needs
  • deliver sales Presentations, Proposals, RFI and RFP responses
  • gather requirements and provide market feedback (trends/priorities) to the sales, product & marketing teams
  • work alongside a salesperson

You need

  • 7+ years of sales engineering/pre-sales experience
  • project management skills
  • understanding of enterprise messaging / communication technology and architecture (Teams, Slack, WhatsApp, Google Chat, Signal, WeChat)
  • manage business deliverables needed to move prospect to live service
  • experience in banks, financial institutions, law firms, retail, and other sectors
  • willingness to travel throughout Europe when possible
  • to be based in the London area but other European locations may be possible
