Sales & Business Development Manager/Director-Global

Location: Germany / UK / Netherlands

Description

We have an excellent opportunity to join a revenue generating start-up that provides wide-angle computer/smart vision systems for smart devices, across various hardware, operating systems and software, from capture, to augmentation to display.

In this role, you will be responsible to grow revenues and team for in the Automotive, Transportation & Robotics sectors and report to the VP of Global Sales.

  • Do you have a good understanding of strategic component of Automotive/Transport market?
  • Have you sold automotive software or Intellectual Property to semiconductor companies, Tier-1’s , OEMs (car makers), and ODMs?
  • Do you have experience with LiDAR, radar, or ADAS?
  • Are you based in Germany, UK or the Netherlands?

You will

  • cover sales globally (Europe, Japan, Korea, China, N. America, Israel)
  • identify key business opportunities for our client’s core technology and drive the sales cycle to their closing
  • take part in the definition, planning and execution of international business development and sales strategies
  • handle RFIs, RFPs and RFQs
  • keep records of all communications and sale cycles progress in the CRM
  • remain knowledgeable of current market conditions, competitor activities, and industry advances
  • perform cost/benefit and needs analysis of existing and potential customers

You need

  • 7+ years of sales and business development experience in the automotive/transport sector
  • capability to speak effectively to sales leaders, executives, and engineers
  • ability to develop, execute, lead, and maintain complex projects, programs, and assignments
  • fluency in English and ideally conversational German and/or French
  • to be based in Germany but UK or the Netherlands could be considered
  • willingness to travel globally
  • capacity to learn quickly and work independently
  • a Bachelor’s degree in business or related field; a technical background is an asset
