General Manager / VP Sales, EU – Programmatic Video Advertising

Description

We have an excellent opportunity as a senior leader with strong experience in programmatic advertising and digital display advertising technologies. A successful candidate will serve as the General Manager/VP, EU in support of our clients digital consumer media businesses, and will implement the strategy of programmatic advertising technology across the EU market, ensuring the clients programmatic sales delivers revenue growth, the highest degree of customer satisfaction and fosters an environment of collaboration, cooperation and efficiency across the business units.

You will

  • Support the delivery of video advertising budgets set forth by divisional business leaders
  • Work closely with the Chief Revenue Officer to fulfill campaigns
  • Manage a workflow system for managing programmatically sold campaigns within the EU to maximize internal communication among team members, while minimizing the degree of hand-offs during the campaigns
  • Design and manage a work flow system that provides for continuous monitoring of campaign performance including yield, pacing, click-through rate and viewability, and ensures corrective actions are taken in a timely fashion to maximize our clients’ advertising ROI
  • Build and supervise a team of account managers, demand sales and potentially local marketing

You need

  • Senior level experience at an advertising technology company, agency or publisher
  • 10+ years in digital advertising
  • Video advertising experience is highly desired
  • A comprehensive and deep understanding advertising technology, their implications in campaign execution and platform configurations
  • Strong current relationships with Publishers in the EU, ideally in the UK, Germany and the Netherlands
  • Previous experience and ability to lead and coordinate a team of 8+ staff members
  • Ability to understand custom solutions and integrated programs beyond standard ad units and placements
  • Deep experience with programmatic ad selling, RTB, inventory management and data enriched targeting
  • Very numerate, comfortable with P&Ls
  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Possess excellent interpersonal skills, diplomacy skills, and strong customer service acumen
  • Ability to get along with diverse individuals
  • Ability to understand and solve complex display advertising sales and ad operations issues 

You get

An excellent base salary on a 50/50 uncapped commission plan.
