Project Manager – Telecommunications
Description
We have an exciting opportunity to join as a Project Manager based in Dublin for one of our clients that is leading the way in the mobile industry by delivering cloud-based IP networks and next generation communication. The company incorporates Network Function Virtualization (NFV) technology to enable all service providers to quickly and securely launch services that subscribers demand most.
You will
- Work closely with the IT and implementation teams in order to efficiently monitor, facilitate, and manage multiple projects
- Coordinate project updates and timelines with each projects lead implementation engineer and customer project liaison
- Formulate a project plan tailored to the needs of the customer for each product implementation
- Work closely with the sales team to effectively prepare for pending product implementations and provide the sales team with status updates of active projects
- Confer with other department project personnel and act as a liaison between the implementation and development teams for product implementations requiring application development
- Work with network operations personnel and the network administrator regarding system requirements and tracking of system hardware purchases
- Attend and provide updates at weekly status meetings with carriers and the sales team
- Attend training on company wireless product offerings
- Identify areas for and work to improve implementation processes and procedures
You need
- 5+ years of project management experience
- 3+ years’ experience improving process and procedures relating to project management
- Demonstrate knowledge of project methodologies
- Strong interpersonal and written communication skills
- Ability to interface effectively with customers and third party vendors
- A Bachelor’s Degree
- To ideally have wireless industry experience
- To sometimes travel and/or be on-call
