This is an excellent opportunity to join one of the global leaders in M2M / IoT Connectivity Service Management, now in its pre-IPO, rapid-growth phase, to lead their Connected Car (CC) sales efforts in Europe.
In this role, you will be reporting to the Global VP of Sales and be responsible for evangelizing their platform and generating sales within the European Automotive Manufacturing sector through mobile operator partners.
If you have a strong solution sales background, significant experience managing and leading sales cycles to Global CC companies along with a solid background in M2M and IoT connectivity platforms and services then this role is designed for you!
You will be responsible for driving revenue through their mobile operator partners using a consultative sales approach and driving global adoption of the platform.
You will be part of a team of “star players” who are radically reshaping the CC / IoT technology world and in addition, you will be rewarded with equity ownership as part of the compensation.
- take the lead of the engagement and sales cycles at European car manufacturers such as Mercedes / Daimler, BMW, Audi, Volkswagen (VW), Volvo, Fiat, Renault, Peugeot and other car manufacturers
- have ownership and drive a target revenue number for these accounts
- coordinate all internal resources such as sales, product management, marketing, and business development to drive maximum value with mobile operator partners
- drive revenue into target accounts by leading the team to perform white space analysis, Org Chart accounts and create Influence Maps
- work with global mobile operator partners to close deals with car manufacturers
- to be fluent in German
- extensive contacts in and experience selling to the automobile sector / CC / IoT market in Europe
- a solid understanding of IoT & M2M solutions and services
- to understand the detailed technical underpinnings of the CC platform in order to have consultative sales conversations with the technical teams of mobile operators, car manufacturers and their partners
- to create and execute detailed sales and revenue generation plans for your accounts
- an executive presence and ability to interact with CXO level customers
- to be very detail oriented in reporting, forecasting, and following the sales process
- to ideally be based in Germany or the UK
