Business Development Director, IPTV

Location: APAC (Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia, Hong Kong, Japan)

Description

As the Business Development Director, you will help developing new business and service existing accounts of our clients TV software products and services for Asian Pacific Region. If you have extensive business contacts in IPTV and Telco space, and can develop new business relationships with operators, solution providers and industry partners, then this role could be for you!

You will

  • communicate with many areas of the targeted companies
  • develop and implement sales strategy
  • provide pre-sales support and assist Sales team to secure business deals
  • monitor industry trends and identify new markets and opportunities, and communicate such information to the product teams
  • conduct sales presentations, product demonstrations and represent our client at international trade shows and conferences
  • work with Sales team to follow up on customer relationship and close deals
  • work with product marketing team to define product release requirements, go-to-market strategy, helping them understand the product positioning, key benefits, and target customers
  • Win early customers with limited support
  • Cooperate with strategic partners and third parties (e.g. semiconductors, design houses)

You need

  • 10+ years of business development, marketing, and/or sales experience with software products or services into Telco / TV operators, CE and Semi-conductor industry
  • excellent English; 2nd languages of interest: Russian, Chinese
  • ability to manage complex negotiations with senior executives of operators
  • success in selling to Telco and TV market and environment
  • to be self-motivated, responsible and able to work independently
  • a BS in Business, Computer Science or equivalent experience. MBA not required but a strong plus
  • to travel in China & Asia Pacific Region (25%) and to European HQ (25%)
  • proficiency with Microsoft Office software
  • strong communication and presentation skills
  • 3+ years IPTV work experience
  • to ideally have TV software experience

You get

an excellent salary, on an uncapped 80/20 commission plan
